Rules and Regulations
1.Each team will consists of at most two members and participants must come with their team name.
2.You can use any languages/scripts in web designing from
languages/scripts given below
HTML , JAVASCRIPT , VBSCRIPT,JSP,JAVA
SERVLET,PHP,JAVA BEANS.
3.Bonus marks will be awarded for the teams who are using self-made
designs or templates.
4.(a)Problem statement of the designing project can be collected from
registration/welcome
desk from 9:00 am to
11:00 am on the first day of sankalp i.e Oct,14.
(b)You must collect a blank CD from
registration/welcome desk from 3:00pm to 4:00pm
on OCT,14 and write your
project on the CD. Any other CD will not be accepted.
5.You have to submit your project on or before 3:00 pm of OCT,15
. No project will be accepted after 3:00 pm of OCT,15.
6.Participants should bring their own laptop to design the project.
7.The team which is making dynamic web project i.e using
JSP,SERVLETS,PHP must create WAR file of their
project.
8.The team making dynamic project have to submit their project along
with its WAR file.
9.The description of the databases and server configurations will be
provided along with the problem statement.
10.The dynamic projects will be tested on apache tomcat 5.5 if
JSP/SERVLET is used and WAMPserver 2.0a (Windows Apache MYSQL PHP) if PHP
is used.
11.ORACLE or DB2 will be the databases for JSP/SERVLETS and MYSQL
will be the database for PHP projects.
12.if you are using any other database make sure that you will submit
the project after changing the database specifications to
MYSQL/ORACLE/DB2.
13.Make sure that your project will meet the specified configuration
otherwise it will not run properly and you will loose marks.
14.You and your team will be responsible for any non-standard configurations or code of your project.
15.The decision of the jury will be final and no query will be
entertained after the result is declared.
16.The whole website must be within 100 MB memory space.
