Event format:
The event is divided into two rounds:
(1)Preliminary round
(2)Final Round
Preliminary round
In this round the participating groups have to submit an abstract of their design/model on-line.
The selected abstracts will be nominated for the final round.
Final round
Based on your abstracts, a selected number of teams will be called for model exhibition in Sankalp.
The chosen finalists are required to come with their model/design .Your team will be judged by a panel
of judges.
Details of abstract submission:
-Explain briefly the idea of your project.
-Explain briefly how your project works? Please mention all the technicalities and functional analysis of
the model. (Diagrams, flowcharts etc. will be appreciated.)
-The commercial value, impact and expected market Size of the model and its implications should be
scripted.
-The details of the hardware and software required by you for the presentation of your software,
if chosen for the final round.
-Mention clearly in the abstract regarding the technical superiority and cost-effectiveness of your model.
-Some photographs of the real world model enclosed with the abstract will be appreciated.
-The abstract should be submitted in .doc format only with not less than 800 words.
-Please note that the abstract should be mailed to:-ehcnist@yahoo.in.
-Deadline for submission of abstract is 7rd OCT, 2009. No late entries will be entertained.
-Selected abstracts will get notified via e-mail on or before 9th OCT, 2009.The selected teams
will also be updated on the Sankalp website.
Rules and Regulations:
-Only teams of three or less are allowed.
-Participants are required to come with college ID cards.
-It is recommended that the abstract will be according to the format given earlier.
-Teams are requested to come with Two Hardcopies of their project report along with other
documents such as Slides, Charts, Cost-Sheets etc.
-Teams have to give details of resources required before hand to the coordinators for the exhibition.
-Best efforts would be put to make it available. In case it is not possible to do so, the team
would be notified well in advance.
-Participants with a working prototype will be given preference.
-The decision of the judges and the organizers will be the final and binding.
-Any or all of the above rules are subjected to change which is under the discretion of the coordinators.

5. Manufacturability
6. Technical Superiority
